|Prenatal & Infancy||Prenatal entails fertilization and conception while infancy entails development of gross & fine motor skills||It entails learning to manage, control and understand one’s emotions and those of others around them.||Entails mental development such as reflexivity as well as coordination through interaction with other people||Entails pregnancy complications such as miscarriage as well as birth defects and infant death.|
|Early Childhood||There is continued development of gross as well as fine motor skills||There is Development of a higher level of sense of control||The ability to use words instead of senses in communication grows||The concerns is issues are the picky eating as well as thumb sucking and sleeping issues|
|Middle & Late Childhood||Growth of teeth and for the boys they experience more development of gross skills while the girls develop more fatty tissues in preparation for puberty||There are behavioral habits which may cause children to start comparing themselves to others||Memory improves in children as they practice learning and other cognitive processes||There is rejection as well as low self-esteem due to feelings of inadequacy|
