The final project is the creation of a grant proposal that proposes a solution to a problem faced by a community or group to which you belong, and address your proposal to anyone who might help solve the problem.

The assessment for this course will be the construction of a grant proposal that targets a current need. The overall assessment will demonstrate your ability not only to conduct research, but to think critically. Specifically, through your writing you must demonstrate your ability to address the following competencies:
